Karl Lagerfeld turns his critical eye to Vogue Paris

Karl Lagerfeld is branching out into magazines, taking a turn as guest editor for the December/January issue of Vogue Paris. The fashion mogul also recruited fellow creative Hedi Slimane to shoot the cover, comprising a black and white image featuring Lagerfeld and his latest protegee, model and actress Lily Rose Depp, styled by Emmanuelle Alt.

Inside the double issue, WWD reports that several of the images are rumored to also feature the creative’s beloved cat, Choupette, alongside better-known fashion figures such as Delphine Arnault and Vanessa Paradis.

Lagerfeld has previously guest-edited Wallpaper in 2009, French magazine Madame Figaro and French newspaper Libération in 2010.
