British retailer Marks & Spencer has augmented its wine offering, bringing in both private label and branded SKUs for the summer period, TheDrinksBusiness.com has reported.
Among these are wines from M&S’s new private label brand Costa Fresca, including an Eggo Malbec from the Mendoza producer Zorzal, a Pinot Noir from Casablanca, and a £9 Sauvignon Blanc from the US.
Also from Argentina, it will retail branded wines Vaglio Malbec Vista Flores 2016 (£12.00), and Vaglio Rose 2016 (£10.00) from winemaker Jose Lovaglio.
Additional New Zealand wines have been included, which retail at £8.50, £10 and £11 respectively. These are two Sauvignon Blancs and a Seifried Grüner Veltliner.
For its ‘everyday’ private label line, Craft 3, the retailer has added a new Cabernet Sauvignon from Chile, a new Australian Chardonnay, and a New Zealand Pinot Noir to its shelves.
M&S has also increased its offering of English wines, with new SKUs retailing at between £15 and £30.
