Whilst each project undertaken is bespoke to our clients’ needs we have developed a structured process that utilises a blend of targeted market research and proprietary psychometric tools.

Our Process

1. Briefing

We take the time to understand your business, culture and objectives through a series of stakeholder meetings and dedicated research. We challenge the brief and draw up a client requirement which is used as the parameters for finding suitable candidates.

2. Market Mapping

Our dedicated research team comprehensively map from an international talent pool and identify both key targets and sources. The research and findings of this market mapping is provided to the client at this stage.

3. Approach

Using a tiered candidate approach we gauge the level of interest in looking at a potential opportunity. Once a mutual level of interest has been established, the BlackBook digital briefing portal is then shared.

4. Evaluation

A series of detailed interviews are then undertaken to determine their suitability to the role. This is done using a combination of competency based interviewing and a psychometric evaluation.

5. Shortlisting

Using the information gathered during the evaluation stage, BlackBook in partnership with the client prepare a final shortlist of candidates. Soft referencing can be conducted at this stage when required.

6. Client Interviews

BlackBook assists the client in organising a set of interviews with all relevant stakeholders. As the preferred candidate emerges, BlackBook offer further due diligence as required.

7. Offer and Acceptance

BlackBook work in partnership to manage the offer process to completion and collate all final referencing.

8. On-boarding and Integration

BlackBook agrees the on-boarding and integration process (pre start) additionally we can assist in agreeing their scope and 12 months’ objectives.
